I hope you have enjoyed this brief journey of nostalgia and family history. For the last day of 2025 I chose this mercury glass ornament. It is one we picked up in Poland. Whenever I hang this ornament on the tree I think of a song that Layden composed back in the ’80’s. He found an antique volume of children’s poems and stories and set several of them to music.
